Many people begin their pay per click campaign at the most obvious place, Google Adwords. This is perfectly fine if you are just starting out in the world of Search Engine Marketing as Google does provide a lot of useful tools and help content to guide you along, as well as a large community of users who you also may find helpful through various blog posts, shared experiences and such.
Once you’ve graduated from PPC 101, I highly recommend having a look at the various other Pay Per Click Search Engines who usually provide better value as opposed to Google, largely because there isn’t as much competition on keywords.
Another good reason to trial as many PPC Search Engines as you can is that most of them offer some type of free credit bonus when you first sign up. Every dollar counts!
Here’s a quick list of alternate Pay Per Click Search Engines:
When evaluating alternate PPC Search Engines, make sure that you are able to track similar data from each of them so that you can make a true comparison on which engine provides you with the best converting traffic. You will find that certain niches convert better with certain PPC engines than others so it’s all for you to find out!

Designer: Web 2.0 is when you have visually large elements (big icons, buttons, etc…), clear navigation, big fonts, cheerful colors and a lot of white space.
Developer: I think Web 2.0 is all about syndication. Having RSS feeds, XML-RPC calls, SOAP, API’s, track backs (link backs), socializing factor (user interactivity such as ratings, comments, etc…), tag clouds and of course extensive usage of AJAX.
Client: No doubt about it, Web 2.0 is when you have big fonts and buttons, warm and friendly colors, clear navigation and cool effects (AJAX) that produces rich end user experience, or so to say “wow factor”.
They are all right, more or less. I’d say I’m closest to developer’s point of view. Being both developer and designer and with intensive communication with clients, most of them don’t have a clue what “Web 2.0″ really stands for. All they know is that it’s cool and trendy term and that they want a “Web 2.0 look and feel”.

You send visitors to the business and if they end up making a purchase, you will be paid a commission. Simple!

Search Engine Optimization is the process of fine-tuning your website so that the search engines are able to access and understand it more easily. Search engines have “bots” which crawl around the word wide web, following links in what would appear to be a never ending journey. As these bots crawl through pages, they need to try and work out what each page is about, and report the information back to the headquarters where it’s stored in a huge database. From this database comes your search results when you search for anything on Google, Yahoo and MSN for example.
The process of optimizing pages involves tasks such as using special HTML tags that provide information to the search engines on what the “keywords” of the page are. By strategically combining the usage of these HTML tags, you can define the theme of the page.
